Default Brighthouse Echo

Has anyone tried the new Brighthouse Cable Echo service which supposedly eliminates dead spots for Internet throughout your home?

IMO there are much better ways to get good network performance in you home than paying your service provider $10 per month for a gateway and $3 per month for an access point.

Your best bet would be to buy your own router, modem and access point. Once property setup you'll should have great wifi coverage throughout your home and lanai. Additional access points are typically used in much larger homes than you see in The Villages. A good access point properly located should cover even the largest Premier homes with ease.

Yes, I have it. When I called bright house they were able to redo my plan for my "package" and I pay no more per month. Works good!
