I visited OTOW last year. I found the pace to be much quieter than TV. Just seemed a little old for my tastes. Probably the biggest place other than TV that I've seen. Doesn't have the whole infrastructure available (large stores, shops, services etc.) that TV has. But I'd at least check it out if I was you - it might be your cup of tea. Comparable homes are a little bit less in price than TV.

One of the main differences with On Top of the World is that it is a Leasehold community - you do not own the land your home is on. Ask about this with any community you are considering.

Del Webb Stone Creek is right next door to On Top of the World.
I thought their amentity fees were pretty steep though, for what you get.

As said above, both seemed a tad less costly and somewhat quieter.

We visted OTW also when we were checking out other places in Florida and were not impressed. Were told by realtor you didn't own land and it was too quiet for us. Not as much around them as there is around TV. Just not what we were looking for.
