Is this the infamous "gecko" that people in TV speak of? I saw several of them when I rented in Chatham last month. They would scurry into the bushes when I walked past them...not a very social critter...

Yes, they are all over when it is warm. I think they are anole lizards and they eat little bugs. Only thing I know for sure is they are fast.

THANK YOU!!! I'm one for jokes and humor as much as the next person but I do appreciate it when someone really does seriously answer a question. Again, thank you so much for the response and information! Yes....these little guys are very annoying...not a factor to affect the health and welfare of any of us.

Anybody remember about a decade ago when they shut down Disney World at 7 pm because of mosquitoes carrying some sort of disease? I was visitng folks in Vero and had to be in the 90's
