Question Golf Cart Insurance

New to The Villages and ordered first golf cart. Where is the best place to get insurance (it is not street legal)?

What is the ball park to expect to pay for the insurance?

Thanks!

We just paid $186 for one cart and it included collission, liability and under insured. Through Villages Insurance. 2013 EFI Yamaha. And we will pay it again in November when the second cart arrives.

Same for us. We got a quote through The Villages Ins with Foremost Ins for about $10-12 per month with full coverage. Ours is a 2012 Yamaha gas.

That is probably for an older cart. I pay about $60/year for a 2003 club car with Foremost. Replacement value is maybe $2,500 vs over $10K for a new cart. Looks like full coverage for a new cart is more like $150/year.

Default golf cart ins

don't add a rider to your homeowners ins. get a separate policy, if you have any claims on your golf cart it will effect your homeowners policy and homeowners ins. is much harder and more expensive to get
