Default Building a New House

I am planning on moving to The Villages and building a new house. 2,000 sq ft , maybe the "Lily". 2 car garage + golf garage. In a new subdivision currently building homes. On an average lot. Total cost around $275,000.00 I am hoping someone could answer some questions.
Is natural gas available? If so, would that be better than total electric?
What would be the monthly cost of electric utilities be on average.
Is the quality good on the homes being built?
What would the bond be on this house. Total and monthly? What would the interest rate be?
What would the RE taxes be without homestead?
What would the homeowners insurance be?
What would the cost of auto insurance be?

Thank-you for your time.

Contact The Villages Sales Center and ask for Cherry St. Clare, sales representative. She can answer all your questions. She was very accurate in her monthly costs estimates when she helped us.

Some of your questions will be answered by going to the Nuts and Bolts of The Villages section at the bottom of the forum. There are three Moving to The Villages messages that are full of useful information.

Good luck!

Your Villages Sales Rep will mail you this information. They would have the most up-to-date information on taxes, bonds, which villages have gas, etc.

If you are looking for a recommendation, we used Debra Park and thought she did a great job!

We close tomorrow on our dream home in St Charles and it was Cherry St Clair that led us thru the entire process and it took two Lifestyler visits and three years of patience on her part. Notice I siad patience not pressure.
