Default bump outs

People are talking about bumping spaces out. Just a question, what do they charge to bump rooms out? Does it add a lot to the price of the home Thanks.

I've seen $$$ like 1200 - 9000 all depends, but inexpensive, except some require larger lots, which also adds costs to it's combo of both.

If your lot is 60' wide most homes are 50' with the setbacks that's it no bumps to the side.

to bump front or rear you need a lot over 90'

figure $4 - 10,000 for a bigger lot.

Thanks jimbo for the info. Lots of things to think about. Hopefully we will be down there some time in oct to rent, then either build or buy.

Default Bumpouts

If you have the room, do it!
I bought an existing home north of 466 about nine years ago and I wish the previous owner would have at least bumped out the garage. I haven't seen a standard garage that's big enough in The Villages.
Even though I have 40' between my home and either neighbor the previous owner neglected to do this. Doing it now is cost prohibitive as far as I'm concerned.
A golf cart garage would be something else worthwhile to add while building.
