Default Cash Bar at Savannah Center?

We went to the Peter Noone, Herman's Hermits concert Tuesday night. Great show, by the way .... a must see. We've been 4 times and it keeps getting better and better. He puts on a great show and still has a wonderful, strong voice. Kinda cute to look at too!!!

Anyway, there was a cash bar setup out in the lobby. I was curious whether this is a new feature/service or perhaps it was out there primarily for a party being held in the ballrooms. Patrons for the Herman's concert were buying drinks and bringing them into the theatre.

Anybody know if this is a new regular feature or just a one time anomaly?

I've been hoping they would have a coffee bar

Peter Noone was absolutely wonderful...I don't know where he gets all his energy! And you're right...he is not hard on the eyes.

Default How civilized!

Cash bar sounds very civilized Most live theaters in VA (and the UK) have bar services during intermission.... Sounds just the thing, to me.

I went to Herman's Hermits also and saw the bar in the lobby. I asked the bartender about it and he said that "they tried it for a few shows and it was successful so they are expanding the service" We will be seeing it at almost all shows in the future. I think it is very much like theater offerings and a nice addition.

My husband and I have been going to his concerts for many years now. He is absolutely the best !!! We first saw him in Atlantic City NJ, about 10 years ago and went to that concert just because he was the only show available that night. We were hooked. So every time he comes around, here in CT, we go. Usually to Mohegan Sun... the casino. I am thrilled he comes to TV so when we move down I will still be able to see him...

I'm glad to know there is a cash bar now and glad to know Peter Noone is still a hunk after all these years.
