I don't know anything about these attorneys but have heard advertisements on TV for both of them.

Default Disability Attorney

Do it yourself, by going to socialsecurity.gov and go to "Disability". Follow the prompts and make the claim yourself and save the 30% fee that those attorney's charge on your retroactive amount due. Whether its you, or an attorney, the initial claim is almost 99% rejected the first time. You then file an appeal, and the rejection rate goes down to about 98%. You then file for a hearing, where you will appear before a judge (either face-to-face or on a video feed), and this is where YOU prove that you can't perform ANY kind of work. If you can sweep floors at the grocery store, or take orders at a fast-food drive through window, you will be disqualified. But if you cannot perform ANY kind of work, the judge will award you either full or partial pay approximate to the amount that you would have received from SSI. SSI-D will also give you backpay all the way from when you first filed the initial claim. All the attorney does, is fill in that same paperwork claim for you. Try a claim for yourself, if its too much for you to do, then go to one of the attorney groups that you see on television commercials. However, you are probably going to still be the one that has to research and receive your medical history to provide to them, to prove that you are disabled and can't perform any work. By filling in that claim form yourself, you will get a pretty good idea of your chances of being able to receive SSI-D. Also, the process, all the way from initial filing to the hearing, will take over a year.

Janet Fuller on Hwy 441, across from Loews. She's great and it's all she does. Sorry I don't have the number.
