Thumbs up A Huge Thank You!!

Last night my husband and I took a ride to Brownwood for an ice cream cone. We had the ice cream and returned home for quiet evening. The doorbell rang and much to my surprise a stranger was at my door holding my husband's wallet. She said, "I believe this belongs to you, we found it in the road at Brownwood." We didn't even know that the wallet was missing. We thanked her and her husband for the good deed and all she said was, "pay it forward!" Yes, we will!! So nice to know there are such good and honest people in the world!!

how fortunate we are to be living among people like the couple that found your husband's wallet

the lost of one's wallet is really a pain....how many of us carry too many credit cards and our social security card in our wallets?

make copies of the front/back of all credit cards and keep that in a safe location...ya never know

Overall, I believe people are good. The problem is a few bad apples get all the press. Glad you have your wallet back.

A couple weeks ago my billfold fell out of my purse when I was getting into my car. I was FRANTIC worrying that my bank account or credit cards would be compromised. I then received a phone call from the police that someone turned it in. With the constant display of the looting and destruction from our fellow Americans I am glad that the couple who returned my billfold reaffirmed that there are still SO MANY wonderful, honest people all around me. I feel blessed to be in The Villages.

I've had my wallet returned to me and I've done it back as well. It's the natural thing to do if you're not desperate or evil.
