Default Hurricane Irma - From Out My Window

Well, it looks like things have begun to pick up here in the Villages and I'm sure friends, family and out of town owners are worried and could use first hand information concerning the various Villages.
I'm in Collier and the wind really kicked up around 9:00 P.M. it's been raining most of the day, I don't have a rain guage, so I'll leave that to someone who does, but power is on and wind seems to be from the north/west. Keeping alert for any tornado warnings that may be issued.

In Charlotte. Sounds like the roof is taking a beating. Lots of noise. We are going to take a direct hit between midnight and 4 AM. 100 mph winds and maybe more.

Thanks for posting this. We have been trying to find news from there. Wondering about the house we just bought down there. Stay safe and God bless.
