Barry Manilow said it all - Looks like we made it. We are here for good. The 1,000 mile drive from Ohio went okay. I didn't get lost, thanks to my navigator, Janie. We decided to get off in Ocala and take 441 the last few miles. Wouldn't you know, an older gentleman welcomed us to Florida by rear ending our car. No damage, but I now know that my blood pressure can go pretty high with no major problems. After a small "discussion" with him, we went on our way.

We're now renting on Hackney Way for a couple of months while we house hunt. That should give us plenty of time to find something and make any changes before we move in.

So, what are we called when we are NOT Snow Birds and NOT Frogs (not quite permanently here? Is there such a thing as a Pollywog (renting and looking)?
