Default Changing out post light

In our new to us home in Virginia Trace the post light is tiny. I noticed all of the neighborhood post lights vary in style and size. Do I need to get an architectural committee ok to change the post light?

Hi, we had TimCox rework ours, he is great at this stuff and he is very reasonable. We also put in the low energy light bulbs, you may need one or more and they do use a lot less power. Good luck. Not an expert but I would not think it would impact the Architectural Committee as long as it is a nice light. it is suppose to nearly match the design of your garage lights, not sure if that is mandatory.
Call Tim, he is great.
