Default We're almost there!

We are moving January 15th to the Village of Charlotte!! We bought a new cottage/villa model (similar to The Colony). I cannot tell you how excited we are! Could any of you share what you like about this village? We are so looking forward to meeting new friends and all that The Villages has to offer! Thank you and hope to see many of you very soon!

Sue - Congrats on your new home! I don't even live in The Villages - yet! - but regarding the Village of Charlotte I can say from visiting there that one of the things I like about it is how the pool is located right next to a beautiful large pond. It is a great setting! We also stopped by the Charlotte pool one day and the people there were so friendly and welcoming. It is definitely a village that I would consider buying in. I think you'll love it - of course, you probably can't go wrong anywhere in The Villages!

Sue, I can tell you first hand that you will LOVE living in the Village of Charlotte!
We closed on our home in Oct. made a couple quick trips down to get the house ready. Moved here Christmas evening. All I can say is its better than I could have ever imagined. We've already either entertained or been entertained 8 out of 10 days. We love our neighbors. Everyone is so kind and friendly, I can't even believe it. Simply amazing.

We are about 3 houses away from the pool on the other side of the street in a cottage home, the At Ease model and absolutely love it! Perfect house for us. The location could not be better.

Can ya tell how happy I am being here?

When you arrive please feel to send me a PM and I'd love to have you over for a welcome to the neighborhood drink of your choice. Coffee, tea, or ????

Sookey, we too are moving to Village of Charlotte on 1/28. So excited. I'll be the one walking a big black lab near the lake. After a temp of -15 last night here in upstate NY I am ready for warmer weather.

How exciting Sue. We are just now thinking about Villages. We don't have the cold freezing weather because we are in Blythe, Ca. Our summers are hot even living right on the river and we don't have many activities here. I love being active and the activities and golf looks like it would be a good fit for us. The problem is our family is here in Ca.

Default Happy for you.

Sue how exciting for you. We have been looking at The Villages and trying to find out all we can about the Villages. We don't have the cold weather you have since we live in Blythe, Ca. We are looking for a retirement full of activities and it looks like The Villages would be a good fit for us. The only problem is our family all lives in Ca.

I am also worry about the weather in Fl. I am a native Californian and haven't had very much humidity, rain and hurricanes.
