Default Cell Service - Alhambra

Need help finding a cell carrier that will work in Alhambra area.

My T-Mobile doesn't get one bar. Wondering if I need some kind of booster or a new carrier.

Helpful suggestions appreciated.

T-Mobile's infrastructure is a joke. They spend a lot on advertising, but pinch pennies when it comes to expanding & upgrading their network. If you want the best coverage anywhere, spend a little more & go with Verizon. You won't be sorry.

Check with your neighbors to see what works. We have had both AT&T and Verizon from time to time and they both failed to get signals. Mainly because the infrastructure wasn't being put in as fast as we were, TV, growing. I live in Amelia. When we first moved here in 09 we had Verizon which didn't work so hot so we did AT&T. Then two years later the AT&T net work was overloaded and we switched to back to Verizon. They had added a couple of towers and started working again. But they are very high priced.
About two years ago AT&T added towers so now they work here in Amelia. We went with Consumer Cellular. Way less expensive. They use AT&T towers and at this time that works very well at least in Amelia.
With Consomer Cellular we by two lines for $44.00/month. The $44.00/month plan has 600 minutes 1000 text messages, plenty for us. You can change anytime to more or less every month if you like. There is no contract. I think your t-mobile phones would work with CC. They will send you a sim card and let you try it out. If it doesn't work they will refund your money. The Radio Shack in Wildwood handles CC phones and service.

Good Luck

We use TracFone and do not any problems with dropped calls any where in the Villages.

No contract, pay as you go, no monthly fees.

SmartTalk with Verizon. You have to purchase your own phone, but at $45/month for unlimited everything, you get that money back in no time. Works for me from one end of TV to the other.

Verizon has the most towers across the USA. My Verizon phone works perfectly in Alhambra and has max signal strength.

Go with Verizon, and your problem will be solved.
