Christmas Tree Pickup?

Can I put my Christmas tree out front with my regular trash items, or is there some other way to dispose of it? Thanks

I would think it needs to be cut up in 4' lengths (?), bundled.

Yard waste on Wednesdays. If tree is over five feet, you may have to cut it down (or give the guys a $10 tip to take it).
