Default Christmas trees

Does anyone know what we're to do to get rid of a Christmas tree? Does recycling pick them up?

Yard waste will pick them up, but you'll have to cut it in half.

There will not be pick-up on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in observance of Christmas
• A special yard waste pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2013
• There will not be pick-up on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in observance of New Years Day
• The next scheduled yard waste pick-up will be on your normally scheduled day of Wednesday, January 8, 2013.

Please remember to place your Christmas tree out on December 28th, or wait for your next scheduled day beginning January 8th. Only live Christmas trees should be placed out on yard waste pick-up days. Please be sure your tree does not contain any ornaments, tinsel, lights, or other objects. Artificial trees can be placed in your normal trash or you can schedule a special pick-up by calling (352) 748-0109. We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to servicing you!
