Recently noticed several paid Political ads that comes up on TOTV. I personally think this is inappropriate considering that political commentary is limited to the Political Forum. In this case the two I've seen are one pro Trump and the other anti Clinton, both Trump ads. Seems rational that paid political ads should also be limited to being displayed when accessing that forum. Almost as if TOTV is flaunting their own rules for political engagement.

That certainly is one way to view it. However may I offer that political advertising in my mind is different than a poster's position on political talk the operative wording being ädvertising"

I do not see any problem with that. If one side or another wants to pitch their wares so to speak on TOTV they can do so by buying ads.
The political forum is just mostly people's opinions without much research or evidence for that position. And these opinions seem to come from all the main parties in the US. |

Fortunately we still have free enterprise in this country, at least for now. And if the folks who own this forum want to advertise anything, that is their right. Their forum, their rules.

The ads you might be seeing are fed by google or other web search engines and are "content-driven" based on your search history or websites you have visited. TOTV has no direct interest or control over what is displayed.
This is similar to seeing an ad for an Amazon product you recently searched for pop up on a yahoo mail page. The Admin could probably explain this more accurately than I just did, but, I wanted to get a quick reply out to your question/concern. TOTV does not take sides in the political arena.
