Lost Postal Box Key

I thought I lost my postal box key and was wondering how you go about getting a new key and if you have to pay for it? Fortunately I did find my key which had fallen out of my pocket but still wonder what would have happened had I not found my key.

i went to the lady lake post office and they installed a new core with new keys. i think it was $25
