You do not have to pay extra for upgrades that may already be in place. Construction work is not going on around you. You get to see exactly what is around you instead of kind of guessing when you buy an empty lot and everything else is empty.

Use an agent from one of the MLS companies just outside The Villages AND an agent from Villages Properties. Neither can show each other's listings.
Haha, on the re-sale site right now! Correction.... Quality Pre-Owned Homes site.

Yes Villager07, I love Sunset Pointe. Everything is very convenient, close to Cane Garden, Mallory and Palmer CC, close to Lake Miona and Sea Breeze rec centers. We have 11 pools less then 3 minutes by golf cart. Close to LSL. Very peaceful and quiet, kind of in the middle of TV and not close to an outside boundary. Not near the power lines, RR tracks or treatment plants. Lots of really good executive courses close by. Tough to beat the location. I own two homes in Sunset Pointe and one is near by Poinciana and looking for a forth close by.

On our first visit to TV we rode though and looked at homes in many Villages. Once we got to Sunset Pointe, we knew that was home.

Default Summerchase Cottages are great!

We are just across El Camino from Savannah center and just around the roundabout from Glenview CC. We are also about equidistant from both Squares!

A good burger, pizza oven, happy hour and a Sunday brunch would be nice. What clubs have those?

Orange Blossom Country Club has everything except the pizza oven. Their Sunday brunch is excellent. They offer an Italian night, German night, margarita cheese burger night, DirectV NFL ticket, a tiki bar with the waterfall and hot tub behind the falls. Plus, the community pools on the historic side are opened until 11 p.m. No bond. Life is good. Gotta love over here.

Default Every village has something

As you will learn (if you haven't already), everyone here thinks they live in the best location, and they probably do. It all depends on what you do. And you kind of start doing what is nearby, plus other things.

Truly, every Village is more convenient for something. I used to be a little smug and think we bought in the best location and I still love it (and secretly think it's still the best), but I have come to understand that every Village is great for something and not that far away from everything else.

You really can't go wrong here. And you shouldn't be afraid to venture out on your golf cart to everywhere else. What I think is sad are those who won't do anything on their own, and will only try something if a spouse or neighbor or friend from back up north will go with them. They are missing out on a lot.

it is an unauthorized pathway that traverses a large plot of dirt! one can exit out of the country club hills area to access the path and come out north of the villages in the shopping center!

To be honest, the nice people aren't exclusive to the Historic side. They are everywhere in TV.
