Default Closing company

Instead of The Villages, has anyone used another closing company for their new home?

I would avoid Advantage Title. I had to sue them to settle a closing dispute. Yes, I prevailed.

I found them to be unhelpful, condescending, arrogant and generally unresponsive until I brought suit.

We used whatever company the bank had us use. We went through First Citizens Bank. No issues and I didn’t expect any issues. We closed through the mail. They overnighted the paperwork, we signed everything and placed it in a Dropbox to overnight it back. Worked out great.

What is your complaint with TV closing? I have only bought one home here, new construction, last year, no mortgage. The closing was unbelievably quick. Signed my name four or five times and I was out the door in 12 minutes.
