Default Frustration!

WHY do you people list items on Classifieds and NOT put a price? The last 4 items I looked at did NOT have a price or phone number listed. Just think about it. Usually you don't list a phone number or a price, then those that are perhaps interested in your item (depending on the price) has to send you a PM and ASK the price....then YOU have to email them back and finally disclose the price. That is 2 emails wasted, if you would just list the price in the beginning. What's the big secret about not disclosing the price? Eventually you have to! Just dumb! I sell stuff on here and I have never NOT listed a price. In fact, I usually list it in the first line. PLEASE LIST YOUR PRICES AND SAVE US ALL SOME TIME AND FRUSTRATION. THANK YOU!

Sometimes there are houses advertised for sale on TOTV without a price. I find that very strange.
The first thing a prospective purchaser wants to know about a house: "Is it in my price range?".

I agree with listing the price. I assume if there is no price, it's too high. So I don't bother. I have listed a couple of items but did not list my phone number. I guess that's silly too. I wouldn't mind sending a pm but I guess this does discourage business.

When a price is not listed I move on. I refuse to play the game of the sellers nor do I have the time to ask. When an item is used it is used. I don't care if you call it stunning, beautiful, one of a kind or won't last long. You owned it and want to get rid of it. If it's that great then keep it.

If you click on the link for the item, it will show the price. The problem is that many people believe the site is working properly. That is, when they create the ad, it will show the price since it does go into a slot. Sadly, it doesn't show and, unless you know this, you're not going to put it in the description.

When I create an ad to sell something, I post it and then go and read my post to see if the price and all pertinent information is correct. I usually put the price in the title, and again in the body. If my add does not read clearly or doesn't show the price, I edit it immediately. After all, my objective is to sell the item. I can't tell you how many times I have 'messaged' someone and they did not get back to me at all. Sometimes the item still shows it is for sale days later. If I get a message, I always respond even if the item has sold. Also, I do not type 'SOLD' on my items when they sell, I DELETE them. Why leave it on there if it is sold?

Redwitch, I see what you are saying. Thanks for pointing that out. You click on 'Classifieds', and I see that the price is listed before you open the item up. The thing is, I often go to 'new posts' to catch the very latest classifieds. I discovered the price does not show up on there. You have to open it, then follow the prompt to 'click here to view the original listing'. In my opinion, it is a system design flaw. There are so many odd things about the new Classifieds system.

If you connect to TOTV with the mobile app Tapa talk NO pictures or prices ever show up. Ever... Makes the classifieds useless. I have notified the Admin several times. Problem continues...
