Angry Colony Pool Audio Knob Thief

Pretty strong word THIEF but it is what it is. Over the past month there's been no less than 6 knobs stolen off of the audio control box at the Colony pool. This is about the most asinine thing I've seen in 4 years of doing water aerobics. It really inconveniences all who use this facility. Soooo if you come in to use the pool and there's no music playing - now ya know. Like Bob Barker used to say "Don't forget to have your pet spayed or neutered." The perpetrator, if caught, may suffer such consequences.

I am going to guess that sometime during the day does not want to hear music at the pool, or a greater possibility a nearby home owner who objects to the music all day every day.

Looks like a job for a little, temporary surveillance camera.

That certainly would be the way to catch them. Hope they do it.

That's so sick. Here at our pool in Swimdawg North, they were stealing the brass connector thing-a-ma-jig from the shower heads. Unreal!!!

The OP said it was at Colony Pool...there aren't any homes close in proximity to this particular pool. It seems odd that someone would do this for sure.

I wonder if those knobs would fit on a Rickenbacker guitar. You know how musicians can be -just kidding !

That is very true. What other motive would there be?

Satellite Imagery could catch them. We need to propose this to NASA. They might help us nab the knob snatcher.

The only motive making sense is its someone who doesn't like music or aroebics taking up lap time at the pool. In short, someone very selfish.

I stopped going to the pool for the open swim (for water walking) due to the swimmers taking over the walking lanes while the walkers were in the thing. I'd say it's someone who doesn't like the music for exercises as well. VERY strange thing to do as that won't keep the classes from happening.
