Why do people not repair divots on the fairway?

They fill divots on the fairway!!! (Not repair) That's what the sand is for. And it doesn't matter what color the sand is.

Replace divot with green sand, Florida grass grows sideways and the sand will facilitate growth.

The leprechauns see the green sand and repair the divots at night.
