Default Need loading dock to take delivery

Hello All !!!, I am new here to T.V. I am moving my motorcycle via a moving company that mandates it be unloaded to a loading dock. It can't be a raised piece of land or a make shift ramp. It must be a true loading dock. If you have any ideas or suggestions I would truly appreciate it. Thank you in advance from a new Villager !

I once had some machinery delivered and it had to be delivered to a local shipping company then put on one of their trucks that had a lift gate to deliver to my home. Both these machines were crated so I had to have a few buddies wait at my house for the delivery and help me slide them off the lift gate into the garage. If the bike is crated you 'll have the same problem unless you can quickly uncrate it then roll it off........Good luck.
Also they may have a pallet jack that they can roll the crate into the garage. Talk to the company.

Use Google maps, and put in your new address, then in the search field enter trucking company, and see what comes up nearby, and start calling. I went through something like this back up north, and the big sticking point was insurance. Every company that had a dock, was not interested because of possible liability insurance.
On a side note, I have never heard of a moving company with this restriction. I would go back to THEM and say if you want the contract, YOU find place to unload, however, this does not cover how your stuff then gets to your house.
Good luck, I think you are going to need it.

Contact one of the local transfer companies explaining what you need. They may redeliver it for you or let you unctate and ride it home if rideable.

Try calling a motorcycle shop or dealership. They must have had this issue.

Find another company to deliver the motorcycles. There are lots of companies that deliver motorcycles to your door or a delivery yard

Hire a flatbed wrecker to back up to the truck, and load the bike on to the wrecker.
