What is going on with DISH? I woke up this morning and found out I can no longer get channel 2 or channel 18. Anybody else out there upset about this turn of events?

It seem that Dish would not sign a contract with Wesh

I think it was WESH would not sign with DISH. I saw on the TV this morning that the contract was not renewed because DISH wanted to change some of the terms of the old contract. They did not go into detail what the terms were.

Dish sent out a notice a few days ago that they were having problems with Hearst regarding a new contract. It affected cities throughout the USA.

If you checked out the other side of the story Hearst Corp said Dish was being unreasonable.

Bottom line, negotiations fell apart last night. WESH and CW18 went blank at about 10 PM.

They got back together today, settled, and now the channels are back.
