I have been yelled at, finger pointing, and head shaking when I walk on the trail even though it is a multipurpose trail (carts, walkers, joggers, bikes, etc.). I am very respectful and mindful too and walk on the grass when a cart comes by. It doesn't stop people from being angry with me. Just saying...
That 5% thing somebody was talking about.

No matter where you live, no matter what your race, religion, or political views, there are always going to be pleasant people, crabby people, and snobby people. Before you jump to conclusions on anyone you have no idea what is going on in their private life. For example if you honk at someone and they don’t respond, what if they can’t hear you and are deaf? What if someone is not paying attention because that morning they lost someone dearly to them and their mind is preoccupied? Before you are quick to judge others, just try to enjoy life.

So I’m walking across highway and I want to take picture, so I stop and expect the world to wait on me?
Prefect example of entitled, no consideration for others.

Her book is titled "The Sociopath Next Door" and it is great reading. The definition being that 1 in 25 ordinary Americans secretly has no conscience and can do anything at all without feeling guilty. Given this as a base line it would estimate that if the Villages has approximately 130,000 residents then it has approximately 520 Sociopaths walking among us. One way it was suggested to determine a "Sociopath/Psychopath is they mostly start with believing they are classic "Victim's". This does not mean all who think of themselves as victim's are Sociopaths or Psychopaths but it is a potential indicator. Given the cases where someone actually experiences a situation where they feel they
have been offended by anothers act and someone feels that person has no right to complain and who considers themselves the true victim for being exposed to a valid complaint? Who is the potential "Sociopath". As an aside I understand there is little difference in a Sociopath and Psychopath other than the cause definition??
You slipped a decimal point I think: (I do that all the time) 130,000 / 25 = 5,200.

My brother has a Phd in that stuff and we discuss it occasionally. According to him the main difference between a sociopath and a p psychopath psychopath is the sociopath may feel some remorse (ie. know he did something wrong, but doesn't care) if his actions kill someone a psychopath feels no remorse (doesn't care if it kills someone). Other than that they are basically the same.

True, but that is NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder), I think you are referring to me (or the other poster about a book) and I was referring to Sociopath. Narcissism is one aspect of sociopath. There are others, like reduced conscience. And moving further a psychopath is much like a sociopath except they have no conscience.

Bingo!

Just like the people who stop in public doorways, or sidewalks, staring at their phones, or chatting with their friends, blocking traffic. It's most certainly their right. But it's the lack of a sense of their surroundings that make their actions unacceptable...

How dare he assert his rights instead of bending to your obviously enlightened query / subtle demand. Probably supports Putin.

You should have thrown a sturdy net over the madman until help arrived.
