Default Water Intrusion

I have several places where water seems to seep under the block walls of my home after a heavy rain. This is most noticeable in the lanai and garage, but I worry it may be happening in other hidden places. It can continue to ooze in for several days after the rain has ceased, almost as if the water is accumulating inside the voids in the block and eventually finding its way down to the slab. Does anybody know if repainting the house would reseal it and stop this from happening? Who do I call about this? Thanks in advance for the help.

How old is the house?

Painting the house will not solve your problem.

Just curious, do you have gutters? Getting the rain off the roof and away from your foundation can only help in a situation like that.

If this is a villa, check your backyard for a blocked drain.
