Glad to see the competition in that area. Shell station has been very unfriendly in my opinion. So much so that I've been driving further just to avoid them.

If you are looking at the signs out front, Shell is the cash price. Walmart's price is cash or credit card. As long as Shell hides the facts, we loose.

Is it a good price? If not, could be collusion, not competition.

There are many gas stations in the area of Lady Lake, The Villages on 466, Leesburg, that are selling regular 87 octane at $2.29 per gallon. Some are higher, but there is no difficulty finding gas at $2.29. Just check Gas Buddy.

Oil prices are back down after the refinery recoveries following the hurricanes.

Default How about golf carts

It would be great if either the shell or the Walmart gas station would sell golf cart gas.

A lot of people just use regular gas from the filling station where cars gas up.

Contemporary fuel injected golf carts run perfectly fine on regular 10% ethanol gas. I have no experience with older carbureted golf carts.

Isn't it more like a dollar more per gallon?

Oh YES they are! The little cash only price is located in area most people either can not see while driving or fail to notice. Talk about slippery!
