Want to share this info to anyone living south of 466A (Sanibel, Charlotte & Fernandina...for now).

IF you are interested in getting a dog park in this area, petitions won't work. It was suggested to me by someone in the CIC that you use the goldenrod-colored forms located in the CIC box at the mail stations, fill out the form and return it in the CIC mail slot. The suggestions are then brought to the powers that be (the CDC?) for consideration. Don't stuff the CIC box - one suggestion per household is fine and there is a follow-up.

There are many dog owners here and there may be interest in getting a dog run. If so, this is the procedure to follow. PLEASE don't shoot the messenger. This is the procedure I was given and I thought I'd pass it along.
