Looks like we'll have to hang out in a motel for about 8 days before our house closes. What is the most comfortable pet friendly one for this length of time.

The Hampton Inn and Suites right on 466 in The Villages is where we stayed in August. Good rates, great staff and good breakfast!

We also used Colony Plaza Animal Hospital for boarding on the day we closed (352-633-7327).

We always stayed at Holiday Inn at SS. Always asked for room 101. Back door handy to walk the dog.

We were "homeless" for a few days when we moved here (a good homeless though)! We stayed with our dog at Marriots TownePlace Suites at Spanish Springs. A little pricier than some but they did give us a "residents" discount. We could walk everywhere and didn't move our car for days!

Did you check The Villages 4 rent - the most comfortable situation would be to find a pet friendly home for a week. Just an idea.
