Default Cello Teacher

I'm a retired music teacher residing in The Villages .I'm looking for a cello teacher in the area to take lessons. I have contacted several music organizations in the Villages as well as music stores. No one has responded. I have also googled cello teachers but none came up
Any suggestions are welcome.

Ah the cello. I was forced to take cello in 4th grade back in the early 70s. My parents had this weird picture in the heads that they would be sitting outside with all their friends while little Timmy played for them. I wanted the drums, sax or even the big bass, but no. Had to be the cello. Looking back, it was a beautiful instrument and the sound is unmistakable, but thankfully I had no talent. None, zero, zilch.

Rare when you hear someone mention a cello, much less know what one is. Good luck on your endeavors and keep me updated.

You didn't mention whether you do popular or classical, but every Wednesday morning, there's a classical music lovers club that meets at Saddlebrook rec. There's all kinds of musicians there. They might be able to help you.

Lots of online lessons nowadays. I always wanted to learn violin but never found the time. I was drummer in high school. Back then drum sticks was all I could afford.
