Default Construction Update #144 - Summer of Expansion

Here's my latest update video, I look at the growth and expansion happening in the southern end of The Villages.

(it's a couple of days late due to the poor flying weather the previous two weeks).

Thanks Don, awesome and informative as always.

Yesterday, they dropped an aluminum ramp similar to the kayak launch ramp next to the pond at St. Tropez.

Assuming that lake is to small for kayaks, guessing it might be for launching/retriving RC boats?

Did you notice see any path going to the water at the pond near Eastport?

Nice job again, Don. And I know you concentrated down south, but I am really perplexed at the new Target in Trailwinds? That parking lot has been completed for a few months now, and there's no sign of further progress(no material/equipment) for the building? I'm wondering if they're having contract issues? Any thoughts?

I have seen this and it's an interesting addition (not installed yet). There is a similar one at "The Boathouse" in Middleton that will be used for canoes and kayaks, but that lake/pond is much larger - a mile long. You may be right about the RC boats, but that's a very small body of water it will be on.

I've been watching your videos since your 9/16/2019 "before and after" (also the date we closed on our house purchase). Since then, your videos have documented the construction and sale of roughly 15,000 homes. I am still thrilled with the ongoing development and creativity of the Family in planning for the future "dreams".

In this video (#144 at 31.54 minutes) you mentioned the design of the three trees, could that represent the developers - Mark, Jennifer and Tracy - and their interactions creating the wonderful place in which we live?

Great Video as always. Just drove past the new Golf Cart Building, in Eastport. Have a thought, we noticed the ramp you mentioned on the video

Do you think they will store their Rental carts up there instead of keeping them in the parking lot? Out of the way and little more secure than in the parking lot. Just a thought.
