Don’t buy a corner lot. Next problem is people walking there dogs and leaving the mess.

Agreed. See quite a few corner lots with small boulders as a deterant, go for it. Talk to your landscaper.

Some workers do not respect the residents. We were the first house in our neighborhood. When the other houses nearby were being built, some workers would park in front of our driveway and we could not get out. I called The Villages management and they would do nothing about it.

Then I called the Wildwood police and they came by and took care of it.
They used our water! They didn't even replace the hose.

Pic of the damage
I also have a corner lot in Richmond, and see that all over the place. Fortunately, I got lucky and have a concrete curb put in by the developer at my corner, which helps, but some delivery trucks still rise up over the curb onto my lawn.

It most certainly IS your land. Yes, there is an easement for utilities and such, but it IS your property. It's been discussed many times before...

Actually it's not.
I'm not talking easement.
The property next to the street is not the homeowners'.
If you check the county records, you will see the property line.

If you say so...

Then I guess all the "dog poop" complaints are now invalid... As long as you stay outside that green line...

If neighbors do not complain the ARC is not going to do anything. If neighbors complain move the rock.

And if you read your responsibility you must maintain the easement area per the individual home style requirements in the case of the OP “grass”

Large beautiful rocks or small boulders. A few statues or artistic collections may work. I tend toward trip alarms and sirens.

No, the person living on that property must still maintain that section of grass; dog poop is still NOT WELCOME!

AGAIN...............it's not the easement area.
The easement area is different than roadside.

There will always be landscapers and those who cut the lawns with equipment on trailers. The problem will lessen but will not go away completely.

But.......the homeowner is responsible to take care of the lawn to the street. That has to account for some reasonable complaints about disrespectful people that trounce all over the edges of the property.
