They're re-furbishing the gazebo and just freshening things up there from what I've heard. It will only be for a few short weeks...not all summer as some have been saying!!

Just the music, not the businesses.

Thank you for the more detailed info. on what is being done to the square at Spanish Springs. Someone posted a couple of weeks ago that they received an e-mail from a governing body in TV (don't know the official name of this body) that the square at Spanish Springs would be closed starting around May 30 for about 3 weeks. The businesses, restaurants, movie theatre, etc. at Spanish Springs will still be open, just no nightly music or dancing at Spanish Springs during those 3 weeks.

From Village Community Development Districts

"Spanish Springs Town Square

The Spanish Springs Town Square will be closed for maintenance beginning May 30, 2012, for approximately three to four weeks. During this time there will be no entertainment on the Square; however, all of the restaurants, shops and other entertainment opportunities will be available during that time. We appreciate your patience and understanding that this maintenance results in well maintained facilities that will provide enjoyment for years to come.
