You need to know the square footage of your roof area. My 2/2 CYV is just under 1200 sq.ft. My roof area was/is just under 2200 sq. ft. My estimates were for 22 square of roofing. 2 years ago I paid $5000 for a new roof. The company I went with charged $225 a sq. at the time. Neighbors have had the same company do it in the past couple of months and they are paying around $6800

The poster quoted $8500-$12000 IMHO should insist on being kissed first! But if they're happy that's what counts.

The cost for your roof should be around $320 a square. Any price much less means corners are being cut, much more means you are being gouged. A square is 10x10 area and pricing must include waste. Your roof probably qualifies for insurance replacement, most I see in The Villages do.
