The monthly utility bill will include your amenity fee, as well as charges for potable (house) water, irrigation water, sewer use, and sanitation collection. The amenity fee and sanitation charges are fixed, while your water charges are variable based on usage. There are also fixed "base" charges for potable water, irrigation water, and sewer. This, of course, is based on having seperate charges for house water and irrigation water.

Our house water base charge is $11.78 per month. The irrigation base is $8.89, and the sewer base is $20.40. Our actual water use charges average about $12.00, irrigation use averages around $18.00, and sewer use about $13.00.

So, adding in your amenity fee and trash collection, the figures your were given as an estimate are pretty close...figure between $250 and $300 per month.

Did you even read the original post?
This is in the original post:

This seemed high so I looked at a video on Youtube by Jerry and Linda- they listed their water bill as about $20 per month.

With all that said- what is a typical water bill you folks are paying?

Thanks!
$250-300 is our CDD payment, which includes water, irrigation water, garbage, sewer, and amenities (which is $178 per villa). So, about $100/mo for the rest…

We live up north where there is not a separate fee for potable and irrigation water. Using potable water for irrigation/pressure washing is a bit more expensive but on the plus side, the water doesn't smell. We run an average of $60 water/month and $40 sewer so aprox $100/month which includes an avg of one pressure washing per month for lanai floor, lanai frame, driveway, house or curbing etc.

That sounds like the water, sewer, amenities, trash all together.

We just moved into our patio villa in the Village of Hawkins in March. So far our combination bill (amenities, water, sewer, irrigation, trash) has been running about $305 a month. I am guessing those folks quoting you $250-300 have lower amenities fee than those of us who just moved into new builds.

Our water is around $50-$60 a month and we have 4 water zones. Suspect with a villa you have less grass and bill should be less.

Our bill is separate from the amenity fee. One price whether it is irrigation or household use. Generally runs $40-60 a month. We only have 2 zones for irrigation.
