Does anyone know when and exactly where the new Costco will be built?

Default Costco

Though I wish there was one coming here, I have not heard that. Also COSTCO WEB site for future locations make no mention of it.

In August there will be three new ones in Japan, one in Taiwan, one in Korea and one in Sunbury, UK.
Hope this helps.

I will believe there's a Costco coming when I see the sign on the property.

Nix on TJ's too.

We will know when something appears in the DS. Until then, it's all speculation.

Right now, I am eagerly awaiting the opening of Home Goods, on Wedgewood Lane.

Just my opinion but, why would Costco put a store here? We are all small households and don't need to buy TP or paper towels etc. in volume anymore. I would like to see a Trader Joes though

I buy in volume to save money and time. For example, I'd rather buy windex by the gallon and not think about it for a long time.

Here's a new idea:
What if Sam's Club discovered the top 20% of their product line that sold the most in The Villages and put in a considerably smaller warehouse on the south end of town? Or just sell the cooked chickens, produce, dairy, meat and fish down here.

If someone needs something special every now and then, it's worth the trip to the north end. BTW, I heard you guys get snow in the winter. Is that true?

I agree, we like to buy in volume, but the point is we wont need to go back to replenish for a LONG time. So it's not just not profitable for them.

If you have ever stood in line at Sam's Club for 30 minutes you would know that many small households here buy in volume. Would the population here support be enough to support both Sam's and Costco? Probably not.

That's my point. A Sam's club south [think small building] that only sells perishables [and cooked chickens--they're the best] would be the best of both worlds if you live on the south end of town. I shop off hours and skip the lines.

Costco's meats are infinitely better than Sam's. Also, it's foolish to think that there are only small households around here. In TV, certainly, but not necessarily in the surrounding areas. Finally, all the clubs, Church groups, schools and other organizations in and around TV would finally have a better alternative to Sam's, if a Costco was built here.

If they ever build one it will be at 468 and the turnpike. There are several big box stores planned down there
