Are you possibly referring to all the Owens Corning roofs that were replaced back in 2014 until ??? ? Not sure if that was a class action but a large number warranty replacementd in some areas. Not sure of the exact details but many homes in our area had roofs replaced 5 years after construction. Ours was one of them as the previous owner left the paperwork but we didn't move in until 2017. This started around 2014. Batterbee from what I was told did the replacements, Maybe they were the original installers when the home was built in late 2009.

Call The Villages Warranty deprtment, they can provide you with any warranty details and if it has expired or not. I found the previous owners paperwork and Batterbee did do all the replacements here (Amelia). Says "warranty" but no other details. Entire roof was replaced in Jan 2014. We moved in in 2017.

Any, "class action lawsuit," we see tons of them on TV. The way it works is they are contingency basis. The line is you pay nothing unless you collect. What you sign, agree to is the law firm gets 1/3 of the settlement plus expenses. The alternative is to hire your own attorney at like $300 and hour. My point is one way or the other it is mighty expensive.
