Default Used Appliance Stores?

I have to get all new(er)kitchen appliances. I don’t have a huge budget. I can’t buy all of them new with installation. If I use one of these used appliance stores I can. Any recommendations? Good ones? Ones to avoid? I just can’t afford new.

There are several stores that sell used appliances. Google "used appliance stores near The Villages FL" and they'll pop up. Unfortunately I don't know anything about how honest their practices are, but they might be worth a look. There is also a thrift store behind Wal-Mart on 466 that sells appliances from time to time, as they come in. They're pretty pricey for a thrift store though.

Another option is "Bargains and Blessings" in Wildwood. Might be worth a trip.

Also check on TOTV: they list items that residents have for sale.

There are also the (numerous) estate sales in and around The Villages. They're usually listed in The Daily Sun. The ones that are brokered tend to be pricey, but there are also non-brokered sales as well as garage sales, several-family rummage sales, etc. I'd check them out as well.

Good luck!

Back home, I used to get all my appliances from a company called Appliance Smart, they basically sold new but they were all scratch and dent. Often times the blemishes were in places no one would see, so I got a brand new appliance with a full warranty for a lot less money. I know they have something like it here up on 441/27 big store with Yellow in its sign... I think its Appliance Direct... Worth a look anyways...

Lowes will occasionally have scratch and dent sales. However given that appliances these days do not last as long as they used to, you might want to consider not replacing everything at one time but buy as you can afford.

You can go to Lowes or Home Depot and look at their floor models that have scratches or dents as they are very reasonably priced. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask the appliance manager if they have any cosmetically damaged items that might interest you.

Check with Appliance Direct in Leesburg (441), as i recall they occasionally have scratch and dent, but they also have good prices.

Why do you need to replace all at one? Are they all not working?Maybe replace one at a time. One's you really need. Put up with other ones's until you can replace later. Look for Black Friday sales....

First, I would only replace ones actually broken. Second, NextDoor app has used appliances for sale but you may be buying someone else’s problem. Look at veteran day sales on line and if can wait Black Friday sales. Again only buy what needs to be replaced because broken.

Many homes in Rdge Manor (40 minutes south of us) are still flooded from Milton. The river reached an unusual flood stage. They probably all need replacement appliances. Don’t know if that is where the op is from but it would make sense

Try A.J. Madison online. They sell new, but when we got our last full set of appliances they beat the prices on everything compared to local stores.
If that is still out of budget I agree with the idea of replacing one piece at a time if you can. I just had to replace a fill valve on a GE washer that was only 3 years old! Appliances just don't last as long as they used too.
Good luck with your search.

Default New and used appliances

I have purchased new and used appliances from MVB on 27/441 in Leesburg Great selection, great price, great customer service They installed the appliances and took the old ones away and even took a mattress I didn’t want. I highly recommend them

Also purchased a new fridge from appliance direct Great price, delivery and installation. Recommend them also.

Good luck. Some interesting styles and colors out there
