Default Courses Closed until Tues. 19th

Just read on daily sun alert that all Village golf courses will be closed until at least Tuesday, September 19th. Let's hope nobody has too painful withdrawal pain.

Hhhmmm.

Perhaps I can distract DH by having him install a long-promised backsplash!

I don't think they will be able to open then. If we get more rain it may be October.

Not being an expert, I worry about the effect of grass being under water.

Have a couple of friends that live on Lopez TP number 6 and it is submerged past the 150s including the green

Grass can recover fairly quickly from overwatering. Look on the bright side. When they finally do reopen the drought will be over, the greens will be verdant, and we won't be hitting off of "dust" on the fairways come April like we did this year.

April, that's a long way off to be predicting green grass.
