Without knowing for certain how the virus affects whom and when the conclusion to 100% lock down may well have been the only answer. However the major disastrous effect is it locks down the majority not sick or at risk.

So let us not be so quick to snap back to total lock down if there is ever an increase in new cases. We will no doubt be confronted with numbers to "live with" as we have readily done for the flu....and getting in your car for a drive for that matter.

We cannot survive a 100% shut down approach again.

Liberty University that stayed open during the lockdown recently completed their school session. They had zero coronavirus cases. I agree that we should not lockdown healthy people under 60 again. People with serious health conditions should stay home no matter their age but we should not quarantine healthy people

She expressed alarm that social distancing didn't start until 7 days prior. She warned that because of that The Villages would have up to 30,000 cases of COVID 19 and between 1000 and 5000 deaths. Nobody knows, it all opinions and speculation IMO. Way over blown except where world traveler’s when through and effected the population. IMO It was spreading at least by early January, IMO the world never had chance to stop it.

I never understand the focus on number of cases and deaths as if proving there aren’t as many, prove something. If there are any deaths it is only a matter of time before the virus will spread if people don’t follow the guidelines. If they do follow them there will be less.
