Hello everyone,

We will be down again for the month of May -- yeah........heaven..........can't wait.............anyways the year before last we went to an absolutely fabulous musical show that some very talented villagers put on at the Savannah Centre. It was amazing!!!! I actually I think embarrassed my husband and our friends with me yelling "Bravo, bravo and Encore, encore. I was just wondering if they were going to have anything like that this year. I have been checking the calenders but don't see anything yet.

I always find some great help here that I thought I would check and see if anyone knew if they were going to put it on. The talent and the voices...........just fantastic.

Thanks so much. I loved Herman's Hermits as a teenager. I am sure it will be a great night for us. I will add that to my To Do List when we go down. Can't wait for the May 1st to get here. My friends kid me all the time about how helpful you guys are but I find it wonderful!!! Thank you again.

I should say that it wasn't really a broadway show I was looking for it was like a huge sing and dance along show casing the talents of the Villagers. It was fantastic.

Hope you have a great time here! Just an fyi, most of the big shows featuring Villages residents are done in the October to April time frame to take advantage of the increased population for both performers and audience. It's very expensive to mount a show at the Savannah Center, so it's necessary to have maximum audience potential when you do. There still will be a lot of good entertainment while you are here, though! Just maybe not as much with folks who live here doing the performing. Enjoy your stay!
