According to an earlier post this year, SJ works at a golf course.

In the last 10 years I have played a lot of golf and all the courses, OP, where did you see ropes cut? Actually, just the opposite, I see places that should be marked off by rope, reseeded or sodded again.

Default Move it, then put it back

Dr. Winston, that is exactly how you are supposed to deal with the ropes. Thank you.

Did you see the cuts? Which courses, Champs or Execs?
Near tee boxes or at the greens?

I was surprised to learn that folks instead of walking around the area or step over just simply cut the ropes, wow.
Has anyone else noted the ciut ropes?
I've think I've only notice one, but never gave it much thought about it being cut, but I guess when you think about it, I guess they couldn't break it with their hands. Really, what would TV really do about it, they caught them. TV doesn't do anything to anyone for anything else because they don't want anybody to get mad. It is hard to believe that an adult would do this but if they were brought up to do this, maybe they would. Maybe they ought to use some kind of light chain, I don't think anyone would carry any bolt cutters around with them in their cart.

Default Cut ropes

The cut ropes I've been aware of have been at volusia, escambia,Sarasota. They are the newest of the courses that have been built which may have more ropes since still keeping a watchful eye on the new growth. However it's my understanding it has been going on at several courses., just as the good dr said. You might not notice since the maintenance workers or ambassadors tie the ropes back together. You might ask any of the ambassadors or golf pros if in fact this does occur. And sorry I leave myself signed in but rarely on the site. Enjoy this beautiful day and thank you for all the feedback.

Guilty of not reading every post here BUT would it not be much easier to lift the stake out of the ground that the rope is attached to rather than cut the rope ? I'm having a hard time believing this story.
