Default Is there an odor on Bacall

There appears to be some type of recycling facility behind the district office at the corner of Buena Vista and Bonita Blvd. Does this facility emit any odors in the area?

There is an occasional similar odorific emination that develops from waste treatment plant on El Camino across from 2 & 3rd hole on El Diablo Golf Course. Please don't anybody light a match.

Default Odor?

We're looking at a FSBO villa in Largo. How far does this odor travel?

read the latest VHA newsletter - probably a link from thevillages.net. There's an article on it. The problem is recognized and now I think they will be implementing the recommendations to fix it.

Big stink, also. When the wind is right, or wrong, the third tee can be deadly.

I would think they could have figured something out since it's been a problem since 2011, but apparently not 'cause it sure did stink on the course today. Also a very loud machine running type of sound was coming from the facility so one could only imagine what was going on to create this stink!

It's been an issue for a long time. Sometimes it smells, sometimes it doesn't.

Is that the Feb. newsetter? I don't see anything about it in the Jan. newsletter online.

BTW, the link is The Villages Homeowners Association » Villages Voice

Cfrance - I was quoting a post from years ago to make the point they were talking about it way back then and still haven't figured out how to fix the problem.
