Default Dead Queen Palm

A neighbor on the next block has a dead Queen Palm in their back yard which I can see from the back of our home. This palm has been dead as a door nail for about a year. I don't know the home owner who has the dead tree in their back yard.

Is it a violation to have a dead tree in your yard? I would think a tall Queen Palm such as this tree would be a safety hazard if we were to have a storm with high winds.

Good question.
This should make it rather easy.

No, I haven't called. By this response, I guess it is against the deed restrictions to have a dead tree one's the property. Thank you for the information.

Don't guess, the information provided is where you will get accurate information, not opinions.

And hopefully nip another "discussion" about a neighbors landscaping.

IMO dead palms get weak quicker than soft or hardwood trees, plus all the weight at top. If it was in my yard I would have it removed immediately. I don’t like the risk during storm for it to snap and fall on my house or neighbors house. IMO queen palms should of never been planted on residential property, especially crackerjack lots. IMO would think it is dead violation and safety issue.

This not how you should have taken it. Calling Community Standards is how you will get the information that you seek.

We stared at a dead Cabbage Palm by one of the starter shacks for over a year before Golf Mgt removed it. But then, they don't have to follow the rules.

What rule are you referring to?

It's where you check in to start your round of golf. To play on a championship course you make a reservation (teetime) via the computer teetime system. You go to the clubhouse an hour or so before your time and pay. Then you report to the starter shack for the nine on which you will start. If it's an executive course, then there is no club house and you report directly to the starter shack.
