Default FSBO's

We plan to rent later this year with the intention of buying if the right property comes along. The goal is to find something before next winter.

Here's the problem: I can find the MLS listings. I can, of course, find TV listings. But I cannot find very many FSBO's.

The online version of The Daily Sun does not have them under the classified section. Rentals are listed but no For Sale by Owner listings anywhere unless I have missed something. Maybe they don't put those online at all, ever.

I have found a few on TOTV, but not many. - unless I am missing something here, too. - entirely possible. (This really would be a good place for FSBO's to advertise and I do see that ad to my right and I have looked, but there are just a few there.)

We will most likely buy a patio villa.

Any suggestions for finding FSBO ads online?

Thanks.

Boomer

Thanks degraafc,

After I wrote the original post, I went back in and added that I had looked at those which are listed here. I was asleep or something on the first edit and had not included that information before I hit send. Sometimes I do that.

Anyway, I wish there were more on that link. When we were in TV, we could find FSBO's in the hard copy of The Daily Sun even though sometimes we had to look pretty hard for them.

TOTV sure would be a perfect way for FSBO's to reach all of us outsiders who are out here circling for a landing. I would think there would be more FSBO's than just what are on here. But maybe not.

Thanks again. I appreciate your response.

Boomer

Hi Boomer, I hear ya', I'd like to see FSBO's also. I guess a lot of folks don't do much other than put a sign out , and are unaware or unwilling to use TOTV or other sites.
Let me know if you find out any good methods.

Try this: http://www.forsalebyowner.com/search...e=FL&x=10&y=12

This is the For Sale By Owner national website that I had my home listed on for awhile. There are a number of The Villages listings.

When we were looking I drove the streets looking for FSBO signs. Also, check the rental listings, many are desperate owners who will consider a sale or even a lease purchase.
