Default Decorative window film needed

Hi, all. We just had our lanai enclosed and the full length window on the entry/exit door needs some type of decorative film installed on it to prevent people seeing in; any recommendations?

You can get a variety of decorative window films at Home Depot.

Default Lowe's for window film

Lowe's has a nice selection of window film at a reasonable price.

I used the window film that's attached with soapy water, not glue. Easy to remove and leaves no residue. I bought it on Amazon. Lots of choices. Read the customer reviews.

There are also privacy films, no design on them, as well as the more typical frosted type films.

We sprayed the glass in our door with a frosted "paint" from Lowes.

Cheaper and easier to apply than film, but still lets in most of the light.

Easy to touch up should you scratch some off.

Check out the marion County Flea Mrkt on 27 in Summerfield. They have reusable film with all different designs and in diff sizes. Once on, it actually looks like a glass etching. Theyre not expensive either. I have several

I went there few months ago to check out the decals and was told no longer there. I don't know if they came back or not.

Amazon has lots to choose from at much better prices than here locally with easy returns if you don't like it. I bought mine there and love it, let's in light but gives me privacy and is beautiful. Easy do it yourself project. Check on Amazon.com.

Home Depot and Lowe's carry DIY decorative window film. We installed a heat/light resistant type on our garage windows and a frosted type on our front door window. Used the kind that you apply with soapy water - very easy to install. All windows we covered face west and get full hot sun all afternoon. Have not had any problems with bubbling, fading, cracking, slipping, etc in two years.

Default Window covering

Call Underglass 352-753-5267. They installed a 3M film on mine that not only prevents people from seeing in, it also blocks UV. Looks a lot better than "designs" and you wont have to worry about a letter from TV compliance folks.

We bought our privacy film on Amazon. Rabbit goo or something like that. Applies with soapy water easily and can be removed if needed. Cost was about $30.
