Wow, I am so grateful for Rep. Daniel Webster’s staff!! I was having difficulty making an appointment at the Social Security office. After sitting on hold for 2 hours TWICE, getting cut off both times, and being turned away at the SSA office (with a brusque “good luck” attitude), I visited the Representative’s office. Full disclosure: I am new here, so I first had to figure out who our rep is. Google for yet another win!

I walked into into Rep Webster’s office and spoke with a staffer. He asked me to fill out a brief form, then listened to my frustration. He took my form and assured me that they have a person on staff who is the SSA Whisperer (my words, not his). After a brief ten minutes in their Leesburg office, I continued my day, wondering what they could even do about it.

To my great surprise, I got a call from a pleasant-sounding guy about a week later informing me that they’d been contacted by the Representative’s office, and proceeded to walk me through scheduling an appointment. Wow!!

So, I am so grateful for the many, MANY hours Rep D Webster’s office spared me. This was my first time ever contacting a congressman for help. And boy, did they deliver.
