They should pack in the Cody’s parking lot. I went In today to see the extensive remodel I read about. The bar was packed, the outside patio was packed, no social distancing going on in there. I turned around and left. Who’s checking the 50 percent capacity rule?

If they could have only ever put on that uniform and strapped that weapon on.........
First thank you for your service.

I made a donut joke earlier in this thread and will explain.

My first comment was that I was very happy he was there to protect us. It is horrible that all police officers are being harassed and not supported by the officials in the cities they serve.

Later on after the OP had his answer and found out Panera was offering free coffee I made a comment about getting him a free donut. Didnt think that was a big deal and if bothers you sorry but thought it was funny.

Have gotten some great info on this site and do have a habit of making a few jokes and keeping entertained while being socially distanced.

Been here eight years and have seen many Sumter Deputy's in Sumter Landing. Glad he is there.

Welcome, Flatlander. What county in MD, my wife is from there. I also was a LEO for 38 years. Glad those days are in the rearview mirror.

If I owned a donut shop would encourage police to come for the protection not to mention to say thank you.

As a former police ofc, Im a little surprised that you wouldnt just walk up to him and let him know and then ask if he was there because of some issues.
