![]() Excellent point. Village sales agents are concentrating on new homes. Preowned is secondary. Those of us who own preowned homes and hoped to be able to realize a deceit profit will be lucky to make back what we paid for it if we owned less than 5 yrs, especially when you deduct all those sale fees. Great for the developer. Not so great for the home owner IMHO |

We just closed in Fenney. Anyone with with common sense would know that the Villages will make it all connect. They will not announce what they are buying in land just like Disney went about buying land for Disney World. It's easier to use golf cart when it comes to parking. Four carts fit parking space compared to one car. We're Floridan's and have watched the whole thing developed over the years. There will always be negative nellies, just grumpy old people, dating themselves, lighten up. If you don't like what's happening stay in your house or go back where you come from.

I think many of us assumed they would get the property and it would eventually connect with Fenney. The family knows how to get things done.

Probably more like the goose that laid the golden egg. How ironic a certain faction here dreaming about increasing property values after build out. The big winners will be the owners of manufactured homes in the way of The Villages progress. I suspect 5 - 10x original investment at least.
